Job Description
1. As a member of our client's audit and tax team you will apply your professional knowledge to a variety of audit and tax assignments.
2. You will be responsible for reviewing complex financial and tax information, and the investments held by hedge funds, broker dealers, investment advisors, real estate partnerships, private equity firms and/or high net worth individuals.
3. You will be involved in all aspects of audit and tax assignments from planning to finalization.
4. You will be responsible to identify audit, accounting, and tax issues and propose strategies to resolve them.
5. You will have an opportunity to work directly with the clients and provide exemplary client service that exceeds their expectations.
6. You will receive direct and comprehensive training from our client's Partners and Managers as well as on the job training.
7. As a part of our client's team you will have an opportunity to work seamlessly with US team members by utilizing our client's state of the art electronic office tools and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Commerce or Master of Commerce Degree
Chartered Accountant qualification required.
A solid understanding of general accounting and auditing issues.
Ability to research accounting, audit and tax issues using online resources.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently, and adapt to changes in priorities.
Effective communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Willing to travel to US for a brief 4 month training period beginning January 2013.
