Comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant accounting practices, industry
trends and issues and ideally fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar
qualifications

– Able to evaluate whether financial and non financial data are valid, spotting
inconsistencies/gaps/trends and presenting in a logical format

– Advanced level of Word, Excel and office systems skills are essential

– Competent to adapt written communication to suit its intended audience and
convey advice that is clear, expert, customer focused and timely
• Oral Communication
– Able to be persuasive, convey an aura of expertise, facilitate meetings and
client calls explaining complex problems to clients and answering questions
to a satisfactory standard on the spot. Uses effective oral communication to
provide daily direction, support and motivation to Supervisors and their
team members
Managers are required to operate independently to ensure that all Management
Accounts needs for a broad portfolio of clients are met to complete satisfaction on a
daily basis. Managers have direct responsibility for the development and
management of approximately 4 Supervisors and their associated teams. Managers
are also required to contribute to the development and introduction of new work
processes and practices across all areas of the business, improve operational
efficiency and support business change initiatives as required.
