The principal objectives of the Statutory Audit is to ensure that the financial statements i.e. the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statement give a true & fair view and are free from any material misstatements.

Approach to Statutory Audit of the financial statements is to provide reasonable assurance that the accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and are free of any misstatements, errors and discrepancies. In addition to the traditional statutory audit, helping the clients by monitoring organizational ethics, conducting effective reviews of operational and financial performance, assessing the quality, economy and efficiency of their operations and suggesting continuous improvement strategies
Desired Candidate
Should be CA with not more than 2 attempts
Must have strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
Should have handled statutory audit assignments earlier.
Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach.
Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
Excellent presentation and English communication skills.
Gain an understanding of the audit approach, methodology & tools.
Manage execution on external/ statutory audit engagements of various clients.
Identify accounting & auditing issues, discuss with seniors to solve issues that arises.
Liaising with peers to ensure that gaps and overlaps are minimized.
Must have good knowledge of auditing & accounting standards and be abreast with current trends in markets.
Should be a team player with a proactive and result oriented approach..

Job Description
The candidate would be expected to manage execution on external/ statutory audit engagements of various clients.
He should possess the ability to manage multiple assignment deadlines and further developing industry expertise.
He should be able to efficiently liaise with peers to ensure gaps and overlaps are minimized
Responsible for end-to-end coverage where auditable areas span business units / boundaries
