Responsibilities
Job Description Basic Function:
• US GAAP accounting and SEC reporting requirements.
• Handling Quarterly and Annual audit reviews.
Essential Functions:
1. Performing monthly accounting for the following as per applicable SFAS and Indian GAAP:
• Hedging (including documentation for hedge effectiveness testing)
• Stock Compensation
• Fringe Benefits
• Any other accounting areas
2. Preparing 10-Q/10-K of Exl Holdings Inc in compliance with SEC requirements.
3. Preparation/Review of monthly/quarterly/annual Financials (P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows)
4. Need to have working knowledge of Oracle 11i – booking of accounting entries, generation of reports and ledgers. Also, should be good at working with spreadsheets.
5. Preparation/Review of audit schedules, reconciliations etc. Resolving audit queries.
6. Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act and maintaining documentation/ensuring compliance with same.

Expected Candidate
Profile Education:
• Chartered Accountant and B. COM (H)
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience post qualification
Technical Skills:
• Indian Accounting Principles
• US GAAP
• SEC Reporting requirements
• Consolidation of financials
• Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Process Specific Skills:
• Good in MS Excel
• Analytical skills
• Reasonable working knowledge of Oracle ERP 11i
Soft Skills (Desired):
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work at odd hours
