- Identifying & driving improvements in Financial & Management Reporting framework – AOP / LRP, MAPA & Statutory financials
- Benchmarking group companies with other market players
- Review of business performance to identify & highlight focus areas
- Analysis of decision points referred to Group Corp office & making recommendations thereon
EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1.Identifying improvements to financial, functional and operational management reports (MIS) and review thereof. Defining the management reporting requirements – KPIs / details on financial numbers to be reported etc
Review and analysis of various reports/ key drivers of the business received from the businesses and summarising the take aways/trend analysis for the management against budgets, forecast and actual
Identify key governance and business issues and tracking progress/resolution on regular basis based on management reports.
2. Benchmarking with competitors – national and international. Understanding the competitive scenario and release competition benchmarking reports at a defined periodicity and facilitate adoption of best practices.
4. Working on special projects for respective businesses. Support commercial decisions with financial analysis for respective businesses
Prepare miscellaneous analysis reports related to respective businesses
Prepare business case on case-to-case basis to enable data-based decision making by the top management.
5. Preparation of Top Down and Analysis and Review of Bottoms up annual operating/ long term plan Validate and challenge the assumptions and facilitate the approval of budgets.
6. Financial Reporting Assurance Review of financial statements, accounting policies & related reports to highlight areas of concern.
7. Merger & Acquisition Interface support for facilitating financial due diligence for any new investment/M&A.
