Can we pay sitting fees plus remuneration to a WTD/MD?

Yes as per the provisionsof Companies Act 2013, sitting fees can be payable in addition to the remuneration to Directors as per the limits specified in section 197. But sitting fees payable to directors shall not exceed Rupees one Lakh per meeting.And Sitting fees payable to Independent Directors shall not be less than the other Directors
