I Have wrongly paid the amount of tax for igst for amount 31000 in late fee i am stressed out how i am suppose to claim the amount kindly help

Hi Sir,

Follow the below mentioned simple steps to claim the Refund of Excess Balance in Electronic Cash Ledger:-

Login on GST portal
Go to services
Click on Refund
Click on Application for Refund
Select the Refund type as Refund of Excess Balance in Electronic Cash Ledger
Click on CREATE button

thanks for the reply fellows has the refund procedure started?and yes what if i have to change the bank a/c details where the refund has to be credited .

Yes refund procedure already started... Within 2 or 3 days u get refunded.... Bank should have been added to ur gstin.... If not added then make amendments through non core fields
