26 July 2019Hi my client has paid self assement tax of year 2019-20 on 27 march 19 but due to confusion he filled in chllan 280 ay 2018-19
So in ay 19-20 no tax credit is shown in 26 as.... How should i claim this self assessment tax which is paid in 2019 but reflects in 18-19
Plz help in urgent

Dear Querist, Please approach the respective assessing officer having jurisdiction over the Assessee. Also write a letter to AO stating the reasons and request him to change it. Only Assessing power has powers to rectify any Tax challan paid.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
