22 December 2014What to do if a wrong balance sheet is scanned and uploaded in tax audit A.Y. 2014-15. Audit report is correctly uploaded but only balance sheet is wrongly uploaded.
Is there any method to rectify it?

Actually after the CA uploads the audit report along with balance sheet and P & L A/c, the client has to approve the report. The client can also reject the same if he/she has some issue with it. So if the client has not approved the report yet then he could reject the same and the CA can again upload the report and Statements. But tell me one thing its 22nd dec and the last date was 30th nov for uploading tax audit report.

Yes I know return is already filed. Client has not checked the Balance Sheet due to last date. He just approved that. But now the Balance Sheet is wrongly uploaded, So we need some solution if any...

Unfortunately there is no way to correct this. If and when the case is taken up for scrutiny you can submit the correct balance sheet. Assessing officer may impose penalty for furnishing false information (this can be disputed and chances for that is slim)

In my view you can revise your audit report, as the attachments does not belong to the client. so revise 3cd and attach the correct audit report.
