Wrong tariff number

In ER-1, the Item Tarriff number has been wrongly mentioned. how can we correct it ? Further, the wrong Tariff number has 12.50% duty, whereas actually the rate of Duty for correct Tariff number is only 6%. What are the implications ?

if your Return relates to OCT-16 , you may revise it, otherwise you may inform to the dept thru letter with suitable changes.
