Wrong return filed by friend
my friend who knew my id and password, did filed my return of a.y. 2015-16 in jan 16 . however the same has not been verified yet.
The particulars filed in the return are wrong and tax has not been paid yet but wrong challan detail has been punched.
now what is remedy?

You cannot file a revised return since you have filed the return after the due date. You may go for rectification u/s 154 and rectify the mistakes
