i have filed a etds return in tin they have rejected the return stating that the return is already uploaded. But i have not file the return earlier. Sombody has mistakenly filed the return in our tan. How to rectify this problem.

try filing normal tds returns with the nsdl.

Call To Nsdl (020-2721-8080)
And tell him your TAN No. and Related period which returned wrongly filled acorrding to you and confirm that the return is already filled or not. if filled you can trace with ack. no. where your return has been filled. and which signed the 27A. and after this u should filled revise return for solve the all above genrated quary.

If tds return filed by other party by wrongly putting your tin no. then you cant file tds return for that perticular period call to NSDL : 020- 2721 - 8080 and try to find out that party, such party required to "cancel" their tds return then you can file your new return.
