14 August 2012The employer has wrongly calculated the salary and accordingly prepared and generated Form 16. due to this it has deducted TDS which was not necessary if salary was computed correctly
Can i in filling ITR 1 electronically show salary as per our calculation and claim refund???

Yes, u can. however, u must get a revised Form-16 from the company and then file return. So, if the dept. questions u later on, you can submit the revised F-16 as evidence.

YOU MUST FILE YOUR ITR WITH CORRECT CALCULATIONS AND CLAIM REFUND
EVEN YOUR EMPLOYER NOT ISSUE REVISED FORM 16
JUST TAKE A CORRECT CALCULATION OF SALARY ON THE LETTERHEAD OF EMPLOYER
