We have deducted the TDS for Salary Rs.45000, and same to be paid to Govt. But when we paying we wrongly quoted the Code i.e. Salary TDS code is 92B but we paid in 94I (rent) code. Now my question is How to correct this code error and otherwise whether we have to pay penalty or not???

Hi Vijay kumar,
in my opinion you should make fresh payment of TDS u/S 92b. and Claim Refund of Amount Wrogly paid.
