It will be rationalized. Final list of exempted item is not yet declared.
Exact amount of rate can be known only after GST tariff is notified as proposed in Section 9(1) of the CGST Act. When a product is exempt from payment of all levies (CGST, SGST or IGST), no GST shall be payable. As declared by Hon'ble Finance Minister, almost 55% of ietems shall be exempt from payment of GST.
