if i supply material like cement to a builder and instead if receving money we are agreed to receive a flat as a considerarion,does it falls under work contract?
The contract is for building a flat and the same appears to be covered under the definition of works contact in section 2(119). The fact that consideration is not in money can have implications on the value of the goods supplied.
but sir as per the defination of works contract there will be two person for works contract one contractor who arrange materials labour construction etc and another person who wants to construct by contractor on his land. but here there is no relationship as i say above.
