Working place of Company Secretary

Hi....

 

Can Company Secretary work at a place other than a Registered Office.. Suppose Company A is having registered office in one city say "B" and is having branch office in other city say "C". Can Company secretary get transfer from City B to City C????

Is there any approval to be taken for such transfer???

 

Pls. suggest me.

No need to take any approval.....he can work from any office of the company not neccesarily from registered office.

A Company Secretary can work from any office of the company.  However he shall ensure that the registers and returns required to be kept at the registered office are maintained uptodate at the registered office as required under Section 163 of the Companies Act.

Agree with the above views.

Is there any provisions whereby company can keep statutory registers, return, Minutes in some other state (other than regsitered office state)??
