Dear All,
Who can witness the signature of subscribers of Memorandum and articles of association? Is there any mandatory provision that it should be witnessed by an independent professional?

Hii Vivek
General practice is that the name, signature, age, occupation, address, father's name,no of shares held by the subcribers to MOA & AOA is verified by an independent professional, who is generally a Company Secretary in whole time practice.
But still you wait for the views of the experts.

No compulsion regarding independent professional for sure.
Signature of subscribers of Memorandum and articles of association may be witnessed by any person having contractual eligibility along with a professional....but preferably by the person involved with the incorporation process.
