If an employee does not have a UAN, they will have to fill a PF withdrawal form and submit it to the local PF office. The process of withdrawal from the PF without a UAN can be time-consuming, as the employee will have to fill out a physical form instead of submitting the withdrawal request online.
To withdraw from the PF without a UAN, members will be required to download an Aadhaar-based Composite Claim Form or Non-Aadhaar Composite Claim Form from the Internet. The forms can be obtained from the EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) website or the nearest PF office.
After filling out the form, the employee must submit it to the nearest PF office along with the required documents such as a cancelled cheque, a copy of the employee's passbook, and a copy of the employee's PAN card.
Employees can make partial or full withdrawals from their PF account according to their needs. Full withdrawal of EPF can be done after the retirement of the employee or if the employee remains unemployed for more than two months.
If an employee remains unemployed for a month, they can withdraw 75% of their total PF amount from the pension fund.
