Its not like that, it depends on the college, if its an IIM, then a huge package is must. So, same way, CA has no such kind of stuff, so all are same.

It's all about how you present yourself .... In simplest manner as its said for CA final ...
its not 3 years of preparation , its 3 hours of perspiration
Doesn't matter how much you learned ,but how much you are able to retain and present in a concise manner at that particular point of time.
he may have some shortfalls like lack of confidence, fluency in english, wrong answers due to hesitation ....it could be anything .... you just can't jump on to the conclusion so easily. You need a real critical analysis of both person's interview to get a real conclusion.

College Ranking + Undergrad degree + Specialisation are three things which are pivotal in placements for MBAs. Also being way too intelligent does not guarantee that the person is employable. Employablity is what determines the salaries offered in job market.
P.S.- This is just my opinion and no offence is intended to your friend.

In Mba We learn How To Recived Investment From BFSI,
Where to invest Money, And How To Make Money
They Not onLY lERAN Finance But Also HR, Operation,Marketing, General Management,Etc
But In Ca We learn How To Save Taxes, Accountancy,That Help in Company.....
In CFo Company Prefer mostly MBA or A mixture of AC & MBA
Both Are Good In Their Rerlated Places...............
So All The Best!

Majority of the CFOs in India are just CAs without any mba degree. Nowadays we also see Mbas being appointed as CFOs. But these guys are from top-notch B-Schools. It is very rare an MBA from an ordinary B-School without a certification like CA,CMA,CPA,CIMA,etc. is appointed as a CFO.

Mr. Rao, ICAI has already worked on that by introducing GMCS..
