IM A RECENT QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL,GOT JOB IN A VERY GOOD COMPANY AS A FRESHER WITH SALARY 28000 p.m.
BUT IM FACING A PROBLEM AS FOLLOWS:--
SINCE THE WORK LOAD OF THE COMPANY IS VERY VERY VERY MUCH, OFFICE TIMINGS ARE 9 AM TILL 9 30PM
IM REALLY FACING VERY HARD SITUATION TO MANAGE THE OFFICE TIMINGS SINCE THE CHARTERED BUS TAKES FROM MY HOME TO THE OFFICE NEARBY PLACE APPROX. 90MINUTES+90MIN. PICK AND DROP
IF WE GO AFTER 9PM SAY LIKE 11PM IN THE NIGHT THERE IS NO CHARTERED FACILITY(OF COURSE THE CO. PAYS CONVEYANCE FOR THAT) BY AUTO TAXI ETC
THESE CO. VERY PROUDLY SAY KI BETA AGAR JOB KARNI HAIN TO JIS BHI CORPORTE MAIN KADAM RAKHOGE AISA HI KARNA PADEGA
YEH TO BAHUT HI JADA USUSAL BAAT HAIN
WHY DONT THE GOVT PUT RESTRICTIONS THAT THESE CO. SHOULD RUN SECOND SHIFT WORKING ALSO.
IT MEANS THAT IF V HAVE DREAM TO DO JOB IN A VERY HANDSOME CO. , WE SIMPLY DO HARD WORK TO SECURE GOOD MARKS IN THE PROFESSIONAL EXAMS, AND AFTER DOING SUCH A COURSE,WE PLAY WITH OUR LIVES BY ATTENDING OFFICE FOR MORE THAN 12HRS
ALL ARE REQUESTED TO THROW LIGHT ON IT.

I am very much sorry for the problem u r facing.
But please note that the moment you join a big MNC you have to lease your eyes and your back to that company for sake of attractive salary.
Please remember that there are companies where u can work for 9 hours for less salary......
It is you to judge whether you work for yourself or for money....
It is quite common and neet not worry...... slowly you will get habituated to it.....

Welcome to the world of professionals. Being a professional working 24*7*365 is normal. Even doctors for example have to work 24*7. In case you expected that after passing this tough exam you will have an easy cake walk life then you are wrong. The real thing starts only aftre passing.
There is nothing the government can do.
Why will a company pay you a heavy sum of money and take less job from you. The truth is these companies dont care about you only your degree your signature and your work matters to them.
I know of a CA who leave house at 5 am and returns late at night. He earns 60000 Rs monthly (minimum) but he dosent have time to spend that money..his family spends that money :D
In case you want a comparatively easy job assuming you are from a middle class family..Work for a few years (SLOG hard) save money..or apply for a bank loan and Start your own practice. That way you will (might) have more time for yourself.
Also If Amitabh Bachchan can work 16-18 hours at 63 or 64 years why cant a guy in his 20's do it?.
You will get used to it soon ;)
