Am salaried individual and planning to buy an under construction property (possession after 5 years).
>Question is in whose name should I buy the property so that I continue to get the tax benefit of HRA and Home loan Interest payment deduction. Also, considering if in future I put the property on rent then how income tax be minimised?
1. Should it be in my name or wife name?
2. What if I buy it jointly with my parents or wife?
3. What if I buy it in the name of my HUF? Will there be any problem If I buy in the name of HUF from personal fund/partial bank loan?
