As you all guys said, any practicing CA or CA firm can be appointed as an auditor for another CA firm.
there is no requirement in the Partnership Act to get the accounts of a partnership firm audited by a CA. If you are talking about tax audit of a CA firm, the threshold limit would be 40 lakhs for a CA firm and has to be done by an "accountant"
