Padhuka is a good book for self study. It is Question and answer format and also contains RTP and suggested anwers. Do the following things
1. Learn the concepts well
2. Try to solve the illustration with the help of the conceptus you have learned. Close the solution, try to solve without refereing the solutions. Think more. This process will affirm your concepts in more crystal clearn way.
PC Tulsian is a standard book which contains good variety problems. But not as student friendly as Padhukas
