ya! me too have the same doubt. once i approached the banker he said you should quote account holder's PAN No. But, its quite confusing, b'coz they already have the PAN no. their database.
Person making transaction are required to put PAN No of his.
it means if u r doing transaction u have to put ur PAN No not the person in which account the amount is being deposited.

U have to mentioned the pan no of depositing person nt yrs
A person who deposited amt 50000... It must neccesary for pan no... And when the person a/c Holder widraw these amt 50000 it must have pan card... So moral is... Whene any person transiting 50000 amt .. Its compulsury to showing a pan card... So dont confuce
