Which one is good?

::)This is in continuance of my previous message in this group titled "Good books for Costing,DT & IDT".I've got very good responses regarding the books to be followed for the said subjects,I'm a bit confused regarding the book to be followed for the Costing paper.Although I know about Saxena & Vashist but many of the fellow student friends has recommended Sarvana Prasatha's book on Cost  Management.Since the said book is completly new to me please give the plus points of the book vis a vis the book by Saxena & Vashist. Moreover please do let me know how the book has explained the quantitative portion, which I've heard is not explained clearly in Saxena & Vashis's book.In short since I'm going for self study please recommended the book which will  help me for self study.I hope to get good suggestions from students like I recieved to my earlier message.

hi pranjal,
I am shiv prakash once again.
I know costing subject is a bit tough but not toooooo tough. Look i want to say to you that since ur exams are in May 2007 so u have very less time left with you. In last week i read fom the Sarvana prasad's book and i can say its equallly good book along with Saxena-vasisth. If i were in ur situation i might have purchased both books and begin studying. Saxena-vasist do not explain the formulas whereas the prasad's book do it. However the quality of question is the important thing and I found that both books are equally good.
so if u r not satisfied with saxena-vasisth then go on for Prasad's book its a good one too. But do remember to solve it 2 times. because 1st study is for getting things doone in brain and 2nd study is for revision purpose.

bye and keep in touch.
