04 October 2018We have been filing GSTR-3B every month. Apart from this, which other returns are mandatory and have associated penalty for not filing on time? What are the due dates? I was told that the penalty on quarterly and anual returns have been waived for now and we can file them late.

From what I understand, for companies with turnover less than 1.5Cr:
1. For the month of Sep-2018 and beyond, we do not file GSTR-3B but we file GSTR-1 which needs to be filed before last day of next month.
2. There is not quarterly return to be filed.
3. Annual return GSTR-9 will need to be filed before 31st December of subsequent year.
The above is the minimun filing requirement. Is this correct?
