ICAI Study Material suffices from examination point of view, as the expectation of the Institute is to present the paper in the same language.

Well, I understand the essence of your question, for this you need to make notes of your own in the form of gist, which should be revised on a regular basis, as you can keep in touch with a subject like ISCA.

Start making a habit to having your own hand written notes concisely, as it will aid you to keep revising from your own notes in an easy and lucid manner.
If you still want to go for some authors book, then Manish Valecha's book seems to have some memory technique to remember the answers, you may refer.

Well Looks like we share the same name!!
ISCA is a subject that has to be read from the ICAI Study material (given the time you have for the exam).. If you want a complementary, I would prefer R.Chandrasekhar by Snow white publications.. A very good book that moves at a brisk pace with lucid and free-flowing language. This book saved a lot of my time.
