20 February 2015a person engaged in advertising business, who currently outsource various services to different parties as printing, flex board spaces etc but from january onwards they started printing services in their premises so no outsourcing required so what my question is they prints and distributes to their clients, whether vat registration as per state vat rules required

as per My knowledge the supply of advertising services in the State is a taxable activity liable to VAT at standard rate of state VAT is 5%-15% varying from state to state depending on the nature of products. Persons who supply advertising services in the course or furtherance of business and whose annual turnover is likely to exceed the specified limit Rs5,00,000/-, are obliged to register and account for VAT.
