whether typesetting charges i.e. in books and all know, comes under 194J or 194C
please share your experience.

in my opinion type-setting being a technical service should be covered under section 194J

sorry sandeep,
i will clarify my doubt.
There is an expense called 'type setting charges' booked in the books of the client.
The expense amount is Rs.49000
TDS has to be deducted if it is a professional charges or else
say if it is Contract Expense u/s.194C then it will not attract tds
