Dear Vikrant, I suggest you to prepare your one group first. Take it seriously. When you will really be in position to decide yourself about one or both, i mean when you will be having much confidence regarding one group, then start preparing another. But dont ever let the first group loose at any time.

This planning is more helpful in case of self study, as per my personal experience. In case of coaching, let other views come, because as per my personal thinking coaching is more or less wasting time. Thefore, I dont have much idea about study with coaching.

Regards,

I think 14 months is sufficient time to clear both groups in one go..... Within nine months I could manage to clear the first group last time with a score of 236.... Had I written both the groups i could have utililised the carry over benefit... its easier to clear both together than clear 1st alone....  So in my opinion prepare for both......

dude dont worry !!!

What i suggest is just start studying for 1st group as it has practical subjects.

Also try relating the studies to practical life....

Once u get grip over the subjects start studying for 2nd grp.

Start preparing own notes for yourself specially for theory subjects...

They r very handy at the time of Exam..

All the best & do appear for both the groups.....

hey buddy it totally depend on your efforts and confidience

if u think that u will clear both groups in one attempt so prepare like that.

but don't match your cpt marks with ipcc cos both r really different.

as sir said that do preparations for both groups and when time comes to submit examinations forms then decide. and one thing don't rely on others just believe yourselffffff

but in my opinion both groups is better becozzz the students who clear both groups in one attempt are given more prefernce for articleship trainnig in good firmsssss and merit also comes in both groupssssss.

but its totally up to u and ur strength cos preparing for both groups is not that much easy and try to join that coaching that complete your syllabus in timeeee

Kindly appreciate:

At this point of time no need to decide. Simply start your coachings and preparation with full force keeping in mind both groups. After 3-4 months i.e after November 2010 attempt decide this question keeping your preparation at that point of time.

In other words now it is too early to decide. I appreciate your concern for true knowledge.

All the Best
