Whether prior approval of ICAI required for MBA from ignou ?

I would like to know that whether MBA in Distance requires prior approval of ICAI before doing the said course as it has stated in one  of the expert queries that no need to take prior approval of ICAI in distance courses.
Please suggest the answer.
