dear expert pl explain whether we deduct TDS ? if yes, under which section ?

will you please provide any case law? since, earlier (55,000) we deducted as per 194j

I think, registration of vehicles at RTO office is not a professional service or it doesn't require any technical skill, so TDS u/s. 194J is not justified. Its OK to deduct TDS at higher rate on safe side, unless the service provider objects.
