For HSN Code, have a look at the following :

Let us take an example where the dealer deals with cotton textile.

a. In the Search HSN Chapter by Name or Code field, type cotton; related HSN Chapter list is displayed. From the displayed list, scroll and select the appropriate option (in this case 5208).

b. In the Search HSN Code field, again type cotton or 5208; related HSN Code list is displayed. From the displayed list, scroll and select the appropriate option. In case the appropriate option is not visible, scroll and select the View All link.

c. Select the check boxes for HSN codes to be added. Scroll between the pages to select the appropriate option.

d. Click the Add button. HSN Code is successfully added.

For GST, the system requirements are :

Desktop Browser: Internet Explorer 10+/ Chrome 49+ or Firefox 45+

Besides the above, following should not be disabled:

Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) - used to render User Interface look and feel of the portal. Disabling this will not provide appropriate user experience
JavaScript - used to provide enhanced user experience in using User Interface controls. Disabling this will not allow user to perform any transaction in the portal.
Cookie - used to store personalized information of user. Disabling this will not allow user to login and perform any transaction in the portal.

For emsigner, system requirements are :

Windows 32 / 64 bit OS
Java 1.6 JRE 1.6.0_38+, Java 1.7, Java 1.8
Windows: Admin access to install the emSigner component
Desktop Browser: Internet Explorer 10+/ Chrome 49+ or Firefox 45+
Valid class 2 or class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) obtained from a DSC provider

Also, as to from where to get emsigner : When you will login and go to the Register DSC Page, you will get the instructions and link to download there itself.
