Please login TDS TRACES and then Check PAN is operative or not.

You check it from Income tax website : " Verify your PAN "
Yes , in ITwebsite, it will ask Aadhar

Aadhaar is not required. PAN , Date of birth , full name , mobile number.
Using these details you can check the PAN is operative or not without login .
Else login to IT website, download 26AS. It will have the status of PAN

There must not be so many complications
After login in TRACES site, you will find Statement/Payment menu, In this menu you will get the PAN VERIFICATION option.
