ICAI had given a showcause notice to PwC on 10th January for 21 days. The time limit for PwC to reply has already expired. But no action has been taken by the ICAI yet. Whats more......PwC has requested for more time to be able to reply the notice. It seems that the procedure followed by ICAI is very slow and there are a lot of unanswered questions.
1). Why did the ICAI not question Satyam linked PwC partners ??
2). Why has the ICAI not approached the court for permission to question PwC ??
3). Why did ICAI not ques S Gopalakrishnan (who signed Satyam report) before his arrest ?
And the final question is "WHEN WILL ICAI CRACK THE PwC ISSUE ?"
