I joined the same programme at sept 2008. This may be the best of icai's tie-ups.
The first problem was getting the latest, valid assignment. I couldn't find on the net the assignment of AED-1; ECO-13 and EEG4; i contacted even the Regionl centre at ahmedabad even they didn't have. The guy at study centre told me to give the old one which is available on the net. I did so. The guys at regional centre are very rude and in-coprative.
The worst problem is the timing of results. I gave first exam of 2 papers in june 2009. The results came before 1.5 months before December exam. In december; i gave exams of FST-1. In coming june i have to give exams ; i have to give exams of remaining 3 papers. But december's results have not been yet declared.Exam is 15 days away.
If u type it on the net; u will find this message "enrolment number not found/ results not yet declared." Even if u try to open an email id or do sth on the ignou website which requires valid enrolment number; 99pc times enrolment number of CA bcom(a n f) students is told invalid.
Now; regarding the results ; i have been phoning continuously to new delhi for last 3 weeks. They just give each other's number and makes u running from one pillar to post. aaj to hadd kardii. The man at 011-29572211; gave me the number of pune 020-25671867 because as per his logic for students of ahmedabad; we can get results only in pune centre and not delhi(what the fcuk).
The woman at pune centre left the phone hung up and didn't speak for 5 minutes before i cut the phone. That's ignou for u, bro; and welcome to the ignou-icai bcom victims association. :p

Ps: ICAI hasn't fixed a procedure through which we can get the certificate after completing 3 years of articleship ; quickly and without hassles.
And besides; i wanted to do CPA after passing ca; cpa people told ingou bcom not eligible here in usa.
