In GSTR 9 and GSTR 9A, most of the data are auto generated by the system. If anyone can modify the auto generated data. But there a message,"The fields where the system computed values would be modified by more/less than 20%, shall be highlighted in Red for reference and attention".
What is the meaning of this message? Is the GST department scrutinize data or send hearing notice to the taxpayers who edits the auto generated fields?
