WHAT TYPE OF WORK DO U DO AT UR OFFICE??

Hi Friends,

As u all know, Articleship consumes a huge amount of time in the CA Course & as such, there is also no prescribed syllabus for it. I would like to know from u all as to what do u do at office??? What are u learning in articleship training?? Have u really learnt anything??? Are u enjoying it???

It seems u r not enjyoyong ur Articleship,

As far as i concerened i have learnt a lot during my 1 year articleship career regarding A/cs, Taxation etc. and most importantly i have been able to recognise the people as per their capacity. thats not all my communication skill and lifestyle has changed totally. today i am a proud Article in every respect and i will try to pass my remaining Articleship period giving my best effort to my firm and to my career.

well, you r also correct about time consuming of articleship but remember 1 thing development is a procedure and certainly not an event.

I am not giving you any lecture or something these are my experience

i agree with brajesh but to become CA we have to study. So preference will always be given to Study. articleship if sincerely done in cooperation with CA (Firm) gives fruitful results generally but different situations exist with diffrent students some students think that CA will teach him but its not in realitiy. CA expects far more than what an article deserve while at articleship. CA does not have any interest in the article's future or development rather he just know that his work must have been carried out with expert knowledge from article at minimum cost (stipend) to survive in this competitive world (as CA learned this for at least 4 years in study materials of the ICAI) and he never fails to use its acedemic knowledge on articles. I hav always take my articleship as a challenge from the end of first month of my articleship. Even i hav also taken several transfer each time to prepare for exams n to experience different type of CA services since different CA's have different specialization of work. Articleship has really been advantageous for me atleast so far. It has put into me the confidence of meeting Prime Minister which i could not able bfore articleship. But in the end it will be worthwhile to say that oppurtunity cost of articleship is very high in terms of study. In an extreme situation articleship can be ignored but study cant be ignored. transfer BAN rule is also a curse on articleship.
