i too cant understand d question i read in ca club. i dont understan it that's y i m asking u. actually ans for dat question gave by a member is person voting 7 votes in favour and 3 votes aganist. my question is one person possess only one vote. then how can he vote 7 in favour and 3 as aganist

for sure. go to shared files . u can a topic called board meetings. after opening it , at d end of page u can find so many questions , there u can find a question called urgent query on board meetings. plz refer it

Based on my understanding of ur question, i give the following anwer.
Generally in companies vote is given as 1 share 1 vote and not on 1 person 1 vote.
So only we can vote 7 in favour and 3 against a particular agenda.

if voting is by poll,then an equity shareholder has no. of votes equal to no. of shares held by him
