What points we need to check in financial statement of company before signing?

Dear Professionals,

As you all know, Company Secretary is one of the authorised signatory of Financial Statement (FS) of Company.

Before signing FS, what points in FS one need to check as a CS?

Could anyone give a brief on analysis and interpretation of FS?
