The newly release DIR-3 (corresponding to DIN-1) form for Application of Director's Identity Number has a clause for
* Certificate of Practice Number (mandatory field) in addition to Membership No. of Practising members of the Professional Institutes viz ICAI | ICSI | ICWAI.
Pardon my ignorace, but I don't remember having been alloted or used any such number before and I cross-checked my CoP and did not find any such number on the Certificate.
Is any direction available in this regard in the New Companies Act or from the Professional Institutes in this matter.
