Quite an unusual question... but sometimes logic defies all laws... but still if u want legal interpretation, here it goes:

When a term is not defined under the act, generally dictionary meaning is applied... and in case u consult a legal dictionary, it will tell you that a year means 365 days, 5 hours, 48 seconds and a fraction.

So it is now clear that this year is different from our concept of 365/366 round days... and if u apply this logic to the concept, u ll find that the person is already a sr. citizen...

An eccentric answer to a very eccentric question?

Well said Narayanan,

But i need still more a legible and perfect answer in terms of Acts/ Norms/ Notification/ Section wise. Can you do it?

And finally i don't think that my question is an eccentric or an odd one.........i think we can find out the solution............... so be the first person to do that my dear friend instead of just posting a simple reply that its an eccentric question or a unconceptual or useless question ......... be practical and try to make ur genius brains work on it..........if you can........nly...............nw the heat begins.

NOTE TO THE REPLIERS: This question is meant to provide information by means of clarification to the readers and not meant to hurt any ones replies or feelings. If at so i apologize to those people in particular. But try to be an inventive person rather than being a simple person.

Regards

There cant be a more specific answer to this question... it s a rule of legal interpretation that u refer to the legal dictionary meanin when u dont have a defn in the act... i m not generalising... but it is the "norm" that u asked for:)

And as for "eccentric", it means the same as what u termed "inventive"... jus means that the question deviates from normal stds of thinking and reasonin... nothin more...

Dont mean to hurt u, but i frankly hope u dont become an examiner in future... u r quite demanding on a poor ca student:)

was jus kiddin... anyways appreciate u for ur offshoot thinkin
