Swami Vivekananda
Religion in Sanskrit means, 'Dharma'. Sahjanand Swami (popularly known as Shri Swaminarayan) has defined 'Dharma' in His Shikshapatri Shloka 103 as " the path of good conduct as enjoined by Smruti (code of conduct by seers) and Shruti (Vedas) . "
The definition given by Swami Vivekanand is a further simplification of the above definition.
