gst notice received drc 01A. pls explain purpose of notice. why issued along with asmt 10

DRC -01A is form used by the GST offier to communicate to the assessee regarding any ascertained tax, interest and penalty before issuin a notice.

Form GST ASMT-10 is the notice issued for intimating the descrepancies in the GST return filed by the taxpayer and seeking explanation for the same.

how you can understand why the DRC -01A is issued along with the ASMT 10.
