The total managerial remuneration payable by a public company, to its directors,

including managing director and whole-time director, and its manager in respect of any

financial year shall not exceed eleven per cent. (11%)

there's no limit for directors salary paid under the income tax act unlike salary paid to partners
but the limit is specified under the co act. so whatever is paid within the limits paid under co act is allowble under the income tax act subject to the provisions of 40(A)(2)(b)
