U must be aware that u/s 139(5), it is specified that a return of income filed before due date can be revised before expiry of one year from the completion of assessment year or completion of assessment whichever is earlier. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT DOES COMPLETION OF ASSESSMENT MEAN.? WHEN CAN I COME TO KNOW THAT MY ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN COMPLETED?

i think it means when income tax authority appoint a assessing officer to access your income and when his work gets completed

A Return Filed U/s.139(1) is intially accepted and the particulars furnishes and the arithmatical accuracy etc are verified by the Income Tax Officer an an Intimation U/s.143(1) will be issued by the Jurisdictional Income Tax Officer or CPC in the case of E-filed Returns. This is deemed to be Completion of Assessment.
