What documents should be attached with Service tax Return

If I provide a taxable service (Advertising Services) and a part of relevant service is outsourced by me. What documents should be attached with Service tax Return if i claim input service tax on outsourced services ?

Dear Vijay,

No documents are required to be submitted.

You maintain enough records of CENVAT Credit availed (taken) and utilised by you and if Department wants it at the time of scrutiny they will ask.

i think challan photocopies are to be atached

Challan Photocopies and list of accounting books being maintained by you , if you are filing ST return for the first time.

1. Attach Copies of Service tax deposited challans G.A.R - 7

2. Attach Annexures when your are unable to furnishing more information in ST - 3 form .

3. Keep all Records with service tax Regn. nos. of S.tax Credit utilizing becz authorities can ask you any time.
