if u want to be independent and to have exposure to new areas, practice is much better than job, bcoz in job u will have knowledge of a particular industry, but in practice u will get exposure to different industries and learn new things

I think that, you need to take corporate experience and simultaneously with job, you develop your contacts. It would be beneficial for you to goin into practice.

Hi,
As I think first you should make yourself very clear about the benefit and drawback of both options. If you want to practice as you are interested then you should join any CA firm for getting experience of Practice. You should also learn about the how to get more client what label of service you can provide to get full satisfaction of client.
There are lots of thing which you can learn which is required for the Practice. The very important thing is your versatile knowledge over the Accounts and Finance through which you can provide the batter service to your client.
Also in this competitive time you must have some presentation skill which shows your skill and talent.
So if you are thinking for the practice then try join any Good CA firm and learn the client pressure, Quality of service, Your knowledge label, how to taken the client in different situation.
Irrespective of what payment you will receive first you must focus about your dream.
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!

Hello Renu,
Where do i can find the detailed advt for vacany for CA s @ indian navy ?
Should the new entrants in the profession opt for employment in the industry or private practice ? |

employment in the industry |

Paypacks are now quite handsome and as such employment would continue to become |

increasingly more lucrative as multinationals will turn paymaster par excellence. |
|

In such a context those opting for self-employment will be less although there will be |

lot of opportunities for the specialist. |

Being in practice involves a huge opportunity cost. |

If one could tide that over then the earning potential in practice could be limitless. |

if you decide to go in for practice "invest in technology" and have a good infrastructure |

If u work for 10-12 years in industry, your knowledge level will be not that much high to start practise. In industry your knowledge is minimised to your industry only.
