Could u pls tell me if shares issued by employer under ESOP is taxable in the hands of the employee??
and the reason for such treatment.

from 01.04.2009 i.e. the date from which FBT abolished............. the capital gain on ESOP shares are taxable in the hand of employee........
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
